Summary:
Develops JavaScript and other client-side code for web applications which serve as a front end to a variety of data services. Possesses a range of knowledge of web programming techniques and technologies. Create web front end user interfaces using a combination of HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Develop user interface software for web applications, implementing new features and incorporating changes requested by the customer.
Works with others to develop and implement proprietary content & data management systems built with various technologies into new and existing websites.
Implements dynamic, data driven designs for new websites as well as existing client websites.
Works on projects including web-based applications, website enhancements, database-backed websites and web layout enhancements.
Participates in design of new applications to meet client needs.
Codes web pages utilizing JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, JSON and other computer coding languages, following industry standards.
Required Qualifications:
TS/SCI must be obtainable.
Qualifications:
Should be familiar with:
JavaScript development libraries, including AngularJS and JQuery
JavaScript development tools, including Grunt and Yeoman
JavaScript development platforms, such as Node.js
Source code management systems, particularly Git.
Education and
Experience:
Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent and five to seven years of related experience. Five to ten years of related experience preferred and experience with applicable libraries and development tools is highly valued.
Physical Demands:
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
